The Whistling T. Kettle
Culinary Program
About the Program
Founded in 2014 with the support of Bousquet’s Appliance, (Formerly known as) A Cut Above Culinary was designed to be a functional kitchen fully accessible to all. This training program focused on teaching participants how to prepare healthy meals safely. After several years of growth the program was recently redesigned by former Executive Director, Timothy Kettle. Tim brought his culinary knowledge and passion for the program together to create a full circle seed to table program. Now proudly named, The Whistling T Kettle, it combines the produce grown and harvested by the horticulture department to the kitchen to be prepped and whipped into delicious, healthy meals while participants learn about each food, how to follow recipes, measurements, food safety, kitchen safety, and more.
